Rudston No.10, Boynton No. 5 and Grindale No. 1) Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2016

The East Riding of Yorkshire Council made the above Order on 14th July 2016 to add a byway open to all traffic in the parishes of Rudston, Boynton and Grindale.  It was sent to the Secretary of State for determination in March 2017.  

The Secretary of State have confirmed the Order as made on 23rd January 2018 and the decision can be viewed on the following website:

Safe & Sound Fund

Money is available to residents across the East Riding of Yorkshire to help minimize the fear of crime by increasing their home security.

The Safe and Sound scheme enables people who may be vulnerable, to apply for additional home security measures such as additional locks for doors and windows, door chains and window alarms.

To Qualify applicants must be aged over 60 or disabled and be a home owner, private sector tenant or housing association tenant and the combined savings of everyone living in the household must not exceed £5000.

The scheme is not available to council house tenants.

Successful applicants will be entitled to a free home security assessment and the fitting of any security measures. click here
